What does 'fully guaranteed' mean?

No matter how much prices rise in the future, your loved ones will have nothing more to pay for the services included in your plan. All our funeral plans are fully guaranteed meaning that we cover third party fees (such as cremation fees and the cost of a minister or officiant), but not every funeral plan provider does this - some will only pay a contribution towards them.

What different types of funeral plan are there?

We offer the flexibility you want and need when it comes to something so important. We do this by providing a choice of four set plans that cover all the essential services for a burial or cremation.

We also offer tailor-made plans, so you can arrange a goodbye that is completely unique to you.

What is the Co-op Commitment?

If you choose to pay in instalments over 2 – 25 years, your plan will include the Co-op Commitment. Our commitment is that if you die after the first 12 months of starting your plan, but before all your instalments have been paid, we will still deliver all the services provided in your plan, with no more for your family to pay.**

You’ll also be entitled to the Co-op Commitment if you die within the first 12 months as a result of an accident. All other funeral plan providers ask for the family to make up the shortfall if the plan hasn’t been paid for in full.

What if I change my mind?

You can change your details, wishes or funeral home at no extra cost and upgrade your plan at any time with no administration fee.

Our cancellation policy is very transparent, we have a 30 day-cooling off period, during which time you can cancel and receive a full refund.

If you cancel your plan after the 30 days of the start date, there’ll be a cancellation charge of £250 on set or tailor-made funeral plans or £100 on masonry plans. See further terms and conditions.
